Development Engineer - Advanced AT Technologies (Adv Engr)
We are looking for a talented Development Engineer- Advanced AT Technologies to join our team specializing in New Product Development for our Emission Solutions Department in Columbus, IN . This is a hybrid position.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Being a part of the Advanced Engineering team involved in pre-new product development.
Focus on advanced component and subsystem technology development for 2025 (and beyond) after-treatment systems
Work closely with other technology leaders in CES and the broader CMI to better understand future key component requirements and needs
Involved in assessing Exploratory Technologies for their potential value to future after treatment systems
Involved in developing technologies for the various global emissions markets
Obtains input from stakeholders such as technical managers, project leaders, other product and manufacturing engineers and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to quality product decisions.
Applies and improves processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), iDFMEA, Failure Incident Review Group (FIRG) and tools such as 7-step problem solving, design review checklist and other specialized tools required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
5 or more years of experience in new product development
After treatment/emission experience highly preferred
Automotive industry or Diesel experience preferred
MATLAB and Boost software experience ideal

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
