Demand & VPI P&L Manager
Description
Lead efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met from end to end in each of the supply chains.
Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain.
Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems.
Support Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead the cross Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment.
Mitigate long term supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders.
Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.
Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets.
Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators.
Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans.
Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate.
Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense resources, and capital.
Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Inventory Management and Optimization - Uses analytics and algorithms to determine the optimal level of inventory investment across the end-to-end supply chain within specific constraints (warehouse space, customer delivery, etc.); provides guidance and expertise on planning parameter refinement; develops inventory strategies to support Cummins' strategy and not just a business unit strategy.
Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.
Materials Planning Parameters - Aligns parameters (minimum order quantity, multiple order quantity, lead time, part cost, etc.) to balance the supply and demand plans while stabilizing the supply chain; runs changes to parameter settings in the planning environment and analyzes the impact to customer delivery and inventory.
Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
B.S or BA in applicable field, MBA preferred
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Significant level of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities:
Order Management
Lead the Order Management, Demand Control team to ensure a dependable and efficient Supply chain
Lead the Demand process and meeting to align with supply & manpower capacity , including improvements needed for all line of products within eMobility for short and long term
Respond to customer escalation calls
Partner with sales to align of demand, contract negotiations
Support commercial discussion to improve Accelera’s financial performance (revenue, gross margin)
Lead and drive improvements to balance supply and demand
VPI
Represent Accelera P&L as MRG for all projects - all lines of products
Coach and develop resources to follow the VPI process - P&L
Represent Accelera in Corp. P&L FE forums
Requirements:
Ability to manage ambiguity and a work environment with constant change
Strong understanding of Supply Chain
Strong communication skills
Time management and setting priorities
This position requires come to the office (CEP - Columbus) 3 – 4 days a week
