We are looking for a talented Support Specialist - Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team specializing in troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable for our location in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.
Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.
Teamwork - Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) - Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. Stop work and immediately report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires 5 years of experience or Journeyman level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Knowledge of Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision)
Ability to work schedule – 2nd Shift, up to 7 days a week, some mandatory and voluntary overtime available.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
