This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for a Finance Controller for our Americas Line of Business and Aftermarket for our Cummins Turbo Technologies Business. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Business Partner to the America's Line Of Business General Manager and the leadership team.
Monthly Business Review Facilitator and GM's Chief of Staff.
Accountable for key Revenue Cycle Controls, such as contract approvals, price change management, revenue recognition, etc.
Assist the business in setting priorities on Engineering Resources.
Responsible for the development and preparation of forecasting, analyzing, and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the assigned business unit or corporation.
Develops and prepares annual operating budgets and/or periodic financial reports.
Analyzes, evaluates, and develops forecasting models.
Identifies to management potential areas of opportunities and risk.
Designs and develops strategic financial analysis projects as necessary.
Manages Financial Analyst.
Coaches and mentors financial analysts; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. MBA preferred.
7 - 10 years experience required, including supervisory experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
