This is an exciting opportunity for Black Belt - #IN740 in Columbus, Indiana
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Plan and facilitate improvement projects applying extensive specialized knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
Implement and monitor strategic improvement initiatives across a variety of business applications and champion Six Sigma processes.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ensure successful Six Sigma project deployment and completion, and coach team members on Six Sigma application and on the use of applicable quality tools.
Keep management apprised of project progress, budget, barriers, and issues. Develop network with Black belts and Master Black Belts for cross-organizational project knowledge sharing and support. Utilize AIAG Core tools in support of the automotive preferred quality system ISO/TS 16949 to deliver satisfactory product quality.
Utilize Technology Development for Six Sigma (TDFSS) and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) to achieve predictive design quality and meet Voice of the Customer (VOC) requirements.
Utilize extensive experience with DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) during quality and improvement projects and variation reduction.
Plan, control, and assure product and process quality by holding cross-functional design reviews, assessing validation methods, and drawing interpretations.
Perform detailed calculations using ANOVA, Design of Experiments (DOE), and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to compute and establish mechanical, manufacturing, and installation standards and specifications.
Utilize extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative methods to gather, analyze, and synthesize relevant information.
Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require a Master’s degree inMechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related fieldand two years of experience as aQuality, Industrial, or Product Engineer, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept aBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and five years of experience as a Quality, Industrial, or Product Engineer or related position.
JOB SITE: Columbus, Indiana
WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
