Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers that come into our Parts Dept. or over the phone to promote sales of Cummins, Recon, Onan, and or other parts and equipment by promptly and accurately handling customer inquiries and orders.

  • Greet Customers quickly, and professionally

  • Respond quickly to internal, and external customer parts requests.

  • Set up, and input orders, print pick ticket, and follow up with the customer as required.

  • Research, and locate other products that complement Cummins parts.

  • Sell our products and services; up sell when possible.

  • Verify credit information as needed

  • Professional handling of phone calls

  • Drive company vehicle to pick-up and deliver parts as required

  • Unload company truck as needed or assigned.

  • Receiving, stocking, picking and shipping as needed.

  • Assist with packing and unpacking of parts as required

  • Operate forklift.

  • Complete supplied training programs as required.

  • Effectively communicate one-on-one and in small groups with employees, customers, managers, vendors and the public.

  • Must keep work area clean, safe and organized.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

Experience

  • Two to four years of diesel parts experience.

  • Experience researching and cataloging of parts.

  • Basic familiarity with automotive parts.

  • Experience in inventory management.

  • Experience with engines, mechanics, and repair services.
