Responsibilities:

  • Provideoutstanding service to the customer.

  • Greetcustomers at the service counter and on the phone.

  • Managethe first step of the QuickServe Process which includes: initiating the workorder by conducting a thorough interview with the customer to determineperformance problems and services requested.

  • Worksclosely with the Shop Supervisor to schedule diagnostics when needed.

  • Communicatewith the customer and service operations throughout the repair event to ensureall parties are informed of job status and expectations for completion.

  • Workas a team to resolve any service issues for customers, co-workers, and CumminsEngine Company.

  • ReviewWork Orders to ensure accuracy for invoicing and warranty.

  • Completesthe QuickServe process; closes-out the work order and invoices the customer.

  • Useappropriate Cummins Systems to accurately complete and document Work Orders(WOs) and time reports.

  • Completerequired training on a timely basis.

  • Meetapplicable performance objectives.

  • Adhereto company safety practices and other policies and procedures.

  • Performother responsibilities as needed.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Excellentcustomer service skills.

  • Priorexperience as a Service Advisor, Technician or similar experience preferred.

  • Priorexperience working in warranty highly desirable.

  • Excellentcomputer skills with the ability to write routine repairs and correspondence.

  • Thrivesin fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Abilityto effectively communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive andprofessional way.

  • Desireto continuously develop and improve skills for high job performance.

Education, Licenses,Certifications

  • Associatedegree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • Intermediate levelknowledge of and/or experience with engine products
