We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager – Power Generation to join our team specializing in Sales for our Distribution Business working from your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage demand and preference for the Cummins products, services and solutions by influencing technical and commercial stakeholders / gatekeepers by providing excellent product and system sales support specific to healthcare industry

  • Develop business relationships with influencers of sales (Key Influencer Customers e.g. architects, naval architects, consulting firms, specialty and general contractors, OEMs, dealers, channel partners...) and work to influence purchasing behaviors within Key Influencer Customers

  • Responsible for being the informed resource for assistance to sales, service and technical support personnel at Key Influencer Customers

  • Attend site meetings as required.

  • Stay current of new techniques relevant to the work being performed; achieve and maintain technical/ process competency.

  • Understand the customer / projects needs to provide a solution that deliver the best value to the customer while considering the total cost of ownership.

  • Responsible for market analysis reports as well as the impact of potential alternative technologies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • University or college degree in the field of engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

  • Six Sigma certification a plus.

  • Ability to acquire licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Experience in technical sales, application engineering or project management desirable

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
