Expectations for the Bloomington -based Parts Administrator II :

Cummins Sales and Service is looking for a knowledgeable parts professional to support the parts function at the Bloomington Service Center. The parts professional creates customer value by delivering dependable solutions through Customer Support Excellence.

  • Research and procurement of parts for the service department and retail parts counter

  • Interfacing with customers to identify and fulfill orders

  • Posting of parts, cores and freight transactions

  • Assist customers with billing, crediting, quoting and general support needs

  • Assist with shipping/receiving responsibilities - pick, fill, pack and ship customer/shop orders

  • Perform field truck inventory, cycle counts, bin audits and other inventory control activities

  • Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged system

  • Manage, organize, retrieve and inventory stock, as required

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers and stakeholders

  • Be a fast learner, good with numbers and motivated to learn

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of parts counter sales experience

  • Have and maintain a good driving record

  • Knowledge of Cummins parts system & forklift operations (preferred)

  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
