Cummins Inc. Procurement Specialist in Arlington, Texas
Open and close Cummins shop jobs for the Fabrication Center. Provide administrative and clerical support for the department.
Write service orders, list parts required, ensure parts availability, and assign job numbers for Fabrication Center jobs. Close job after shipment.
Process for payment Cummins' new engine conversion claims.
Respond to inquiries from internal customers regarding warranty, changes, or problems with shop jobs.
Invoice repair jobs to internal customers.
Assist parts employees in shipping and receiving as necessary.
Perform duties of Purchasing Manager in his or her absence.
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Additional duties as required for the efficient operation of the Fabrication Center.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of the functions/aspects of Cummins engines.
Must possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
Familiarity with BMS System service programs.
Knowledge of general service/clerical operations such as filing and maintaining records.
Basic knowledge of Cummins warranty administration.
Must have an internal drive for customer service and provide an elevated level of service for internal and external customers.
Must comply with safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines for personal safety and the safety of others.
