This is an exciting opportunity based in Tampa, FL for a Training Manager.

About the role:

  • Manage the South Region Power Generationtraining team.

  • Conduct classes 35-40% ofthe time.

  • Working with 30 different Cummins ServiceDepartment Operations Managers throughout the Southeast and Caribbean to build,manage and maintain training plans and manage training gaps for theirtechnicians.

  • Work with local Territory Sales managersand local dealers on training needs and requirements.

  • Manage Training schedules for 3 differenttraining locations throughout the Southeast

  • Work with the Channel Development team onChannel Readiness items and training gaps for Service Capability measures

  • Manage and Maintainfinancial responsibilities with respect to Annual Operating Budgets


Skills and ExperienceRequired:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’experience in servicing, working on, or teaching Cummins Power Generationproducts.

  • Attention to detail and the ability tomultitask is a must

  • Must work well under pressure withrespect to deadlines and providing deliverables

  • Must be a team player and be able to leadand guide people through a matrix style reporting structure – those that areNon Direct Reports

  • Must be used to using and working withexcel and database structures for reports

Required Education,Licenses or Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science (orequivalent degree) in Business Administration or related field isrequired.

Compensation andBenefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
