Key Responsibilities:

  • Applyknowledge of financial and operation reports, general ledger, and budgetanalysis to perform preparation and analysis of financial information to recordtransactions, prepare financial reports, review and verify for accuracy.

  • Compile,consolidate, and conduct complex analysis using accounting and financialinformation.

  • Preparebalance sheets and profit and loss statements for corporate accounting on amonthly basis.

  • financialstatements and other accounting schedules and reports.

  • Processcross charges among various consolidated entities and ensure charges areprocessed appropriately in the Intercompany accounts.

  • Openand close accounting periods within Oracle R12.

  • Supportdevelopment of new accounting flows including customer invoicing usingEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial software implementation.

  • Researchand analyze complex financial issues to prepare strategic recommendations tomanagement.

  • Identifyand control weaknesses, communicate to management, and lead changes to enhancecontrols and mitigate risk.

  • Leadreconciliations and close activities for accounts according to US GAAP andSarbanes-Oxley compliance, and internalcontrol requirements for warranty reporting. Perform warranty reserve analysisand adjustment.

  • Prepareannual profitability analysis and predictor curves for inclusion in warrantyreserve analysis and perform quarterly extended warranty analysis.

  • Reconcilepaid warranty claims and support General Accounting month end close activities.

  • Calculateextended warranties to recognize and determine the deferral of revenue earned.

  • Adjustaccruals for the warranty reserve based on warranty expenses and predictorcurve calculations. Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

Experience and Education:


  • Positionsrequire a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, orrelated field and 2 years of experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst orrelated position.

  • Alternatively,the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Finance, Accounting or related field and 5 years of experience as anAccountant, Financial Analyst or related position.

Experience to include:

  • Financialand operation reports, general ledger, and budget analysis

  • Balancesheets and profit and loss statements

  • Enhancecontrols and mitigate risk

  • Reconciliationsand close activities

  • USGAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

  • EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) financial software implementation

  • Analyzestrategic recommendations

  • Accrualsand Deferrals

  • Intercompanyaccounts processing.

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm
