This is an exciting opportunity in Shoreview, MN for a Commercial Financial Analyst . Cummins USA is where you can work on industry that focuses on power projects.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Prepare and support development of cost schedules for projects
Support the sales enquiry and tender review process, with particularly focus on North America(Americas)
Support sales forecast process (synchronized business planning)
Lead and participate in commercial contract review
Liaise with credit control and treasury as required
Lead/participate in improvement projects related to commercial contracts and sales approval for projects
Handle and manage the commercial contracts and pricing;
Work in across functioning team and demonstrate knowledge and experience needed on commercial contracts & pricing;
Minimize risks and improve rewards in projects business
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports.
Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
Delegation of Authority
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Intermediate level (4 plus) of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Risk management, cost accounting, accounts receivable, or contract management experience preferred
Salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
