Shipping and Receiving
Cummins Pacific (CP) is looking for a Shipping and Receiving person to receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from the stockroom, warehouse or storage yard; pull orders and get packages ready for delivery; pick up and deliver items,
such as engines, generators and parts. Some tasks include: 1. Receive orders and pull items from shelves and pack customer orders for shipping 2. Maintain inventory; receive and count stock items 3. Drive different routes with different vehicles, loading and
unloading several times daily 4. Pull items from shelves and pack customer orders for shipping by correctly completing pick tickets 5. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse or storage yards 6. Manage and order packaging materials 7. Receive
orders and parts from vendors and other branches; Inspect shipments to note damage or any problem with items 8. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool room, supply rooms, or other areas making sure that safety standards are always
met 9. Record inventory data manually or using computer 10. Perform housekeeping duties: sweeping, cleaning and straightening shelves; keeping aisles clear 11. Maintain a clean delivery truck inside and out 12. Fill fuel tanks after each run and manually inspect
fluids to maintain optimal performance 13. Pull orders to be delivered that day; include inventory, proper packaging, making sure invoice is correct 14. Make sure truck is properly equipped with the correct materials, such as pallets, straps, wrapping blankets,
etc. 15. Assist other department with special projects, such as moving and lifting boxes.
High School diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related experience, including verifiable driving experience
Forklift certification preferred
Acceptable driving record (no more than two points; no DUIs)
