This is an exciting opportunity in New Hudson, MI for a Technical Trainer – Power Generation.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Provideshigh-quality technical training delivery on Cummins products and systems.Delivers technical training to distributor, dealer, and customer servicepersonnel to enable technician efficiency, repair quality and customersatisfaction. Provides technical support as required.

  • Forecasttraining demand and develop plan to address business needs.

  • Trainsand provides technical support to technicians and service personnel onproducts, policies, systems and tools.

  • Developexpertise through train the trainer sessions and maintain up-to-date trainingmaterials.

  • Evaluatestraining with participant feedback and field performance.

  • Supportand participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintainstechnical training records and report service capability.

  • Customizeand modify technical training programs and presentations as required.

Skills Required:

  • Training Delivery - Provencapability in demonstrating effective presentation and facilitation skills byadapting content to learner needs.

  • Communication - Written & Verbal- Significant experience in written and verbal communication and should becapable of communicating effectively to all levels within and outside thecompany.

  • Time Management - Consistentlydemonstrates effective and efficient use of individual and organizational timeto achieve key business objects. Models behaviors to others.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses or Certifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field is required.

  • Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in BusinessAdministration, Engineering or related field is highly preferred.

  • Minimumof 3 years of hands-on experience working on Power Generation products.

  • Abilityto establish and maintain credibility as an instructor.

  • Workingknowledge of various Cummins service software preferred.

  • Experiencewith common workplace software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Advancedability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Mustcomply with safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines.

  • Mustbe highly organized and able to handle a variety of duties with limitedtime frames.

  • Upto 30% travel to training facilities outside of the base training facility.

  • Avalid driver's license is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
