Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the switchboard, greeting visitors, and providing a full range of administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all phone calls and ensure that calls are routed appropriately. Ensure that messages are delivered in a timely manner.

  • Perform light typing and filing assignments.

  • Perform mailing assignments.

  • Maintain proper level of computer, office, and hospitality supplies as assigned.

  • Order business cards and special forms, as needed.

  • Assist and direct customers as necessary.

  • Assist managers as necessary.

  • Assist applicants with hiring documentation.

  • Operate Lotus Notes to effectively communicate with other entities in the Cummins network.

  • Update company phone lists.

  • Inform and coordinate reception coverage schedule with other departments.

  • Assist vendors of hospitality supplies, as needed.

  • Schedule and coordinate luncheon deliveries with appropriate departments.

  • Coordinate schedule of all conference rooms.

  • Complete final stages of employee terminations. Coordinate to remove from appropriate databases.

  • Sort and scan all payable files daily.

  • Assist all visitors to building.

  • Issue and monitor badges to guests/customers.

  • Maintain clean and amply supply of safety glasses.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or minimum 2 year equivalent experience required.

  • Experience with handling multiple telephone lines.

  • Experience with basic office equipment.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
