This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Digital Business Development Analyst. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading Supply Chain projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Supports a variety of business strategy projects through financial and business analysis.

  • Supports multiple business strategy projects of varying scope; projects may be within a business unit, across multiple business units, or involve an acquisition, the development of an equity alliance, or the creation of a joint venture.

  • Assists in the design and development of strategy through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

  • Performs financial and business analysis support for strategic business decisions and capital investment projects; shares analytical work with senior leaders.

  • Supports a strategy project leader in a wide variety of projects across the entire enterprise to include diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Communicates analysis and strategy topics to a variety of audiences through both written and oral communication.


Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

  • Use of analytics to identify opportunities to develop digital solutions for customers' needs

  • Work with internal and client teams to understand goals and data sources to establish baselines for potential solutions

  • Execute research projects such as web/social landscape scans, search engine competitiveness reviews, web/social channel audits, persona development and audience segmentation

  • The ideal candidate must be able to clearly, succinctly and persuasively explain the findings to many audiences. He/she can tell stories with the data and instill confidence in recommendations to motivate stakeholders to take action.

  • The analyst synthesizes data from multiple sources, develops assumptions where needed, to drive business insights.

  • Delivers key insights with interpretation and recommendation, contributes to the development of hypotheses and actions, and presents them to management team.

  • Deliver regular reporting and analysis and presenting findings or test results

  • Evaluate effectiveness of digital solutions by designing experiments or multivariate test to ensure effectiveness of the digital solution

  • Provide modeling approaches, technique, tools, and visualization in resolving customer business needs
