This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for an Administrative Analyst – Purchasing. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Coordinates documents and gathers and inputs data related to assigned administrative duties and office support activities for a team, department, function leader, or organization leader.

  • Coordinates documents, correspondence and web pages, including letters, reports, emails, presentations, memos, faxes, etc. with guidance from supervisor.

  • Uses appropriate tools for required work including Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel to track, document, report data, and maintain web pages.

  • Reviews documents and proofreads work for grammar and spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness.

  • Ensures document text and graphics adhere to corporate and organization guidelines and standards.

  • Arranges travel for the team or department; completes expense reports in a timely manner.

  • Acquires, reviews, inputs, and formats accurate data into mainframe, intranet, spreadsheets, databases and other electronic tools.

  • Interfaces and communicates with internal and external customers; directs people to the appropriate resource.

  • Researches solutions and responds to email and phone inquiries with input from direct supervisor.

  • Responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.

  • Participates in the development and maintenance of improvement processes; actively participates in self and team audits, resulting in process improvements.

  • Develops a strong network within the department; draws on network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities.

  • Demonstrates confidentiality in execution of all responsibilities.

  • Travel as required by the work.

  • Experience with SharePoint a plus; Support and maintain non-conformance log in SharePoint

  • Event planning - host supplier meetings and annual sourcing conference

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • High school Diploma

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience .
