Key Responsibilities:

DUTIES:

  • Presenttax information based on selected and prepared reports to defend the company’stax positions in federal audits.

  • Performtax provision calculations in Orbitax software for quarter end and year endusing knowledge of tax accounting under FAS109, FIN48 and APB23. Providedomestic and foreign tax recommendations to company stakeholders from payroll,legal, and finance.

  • Analyzecurrent and emerging tax laws for impact on the company at global levelapplying tax research skills and knowledge of Internal Revenue Codes.

  • Requestand compile foreign tax returns as well as receipts for withholding taxpayments to support the company’s claim of Foreign Tax Credit. Reconcilemultiple tax accounts according to U.S. GAAP (General Accepted AccountingPrinciples) and internal control requirements. Utilize knowledge of Onesourceand Oracle Hyperion Financial Management to assess international tax forms,requirement and goals.

  • Examineand analyze domestic/foreign subsidiary accounting and tax records and providetax documentation to ensure compliance with the Foreign Account Tax ComplianceAct (FATCA).

Experience and Education:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Positionsrequire a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, orrelated field and 2 years of experience as an Accountant, Tax Analyst, orrelated position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 5 yearsof experience as Accountant, Tax Analyst, or related position.

  • Onesourceand Oracle Hyperion Financial Management

  • Preparereports and present tax information

  • Orbitaxsoftware

  • Taxaccounting under FAS109, FIN48 and APB23

  • Taxresearch and Internal Revenue Codes

  • ForeignTax Credit

  • U.S.GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)

  • ForeignAccount Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)

JOB SITE: Columbus, IN

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation. Base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
