Qualifications

DUTIES:

  • Developaccount strategy and work with key stakeholders in the business to achieveoptimum results.

  • Fosterand ensure sound business relationships with assigned account supporting theorganization’s sales strategy.

  • Ensuretimely launch and resolve distribution issued associated with accounts duringthe New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

  • Extendand expand sale of engineering products including engines and services toexisting clients. Communicate and interface with customer, and assist withnegotiating and implementing contracts with accounts, as authorized.

  • Establishand maintain positive customer relations and act as a champion for voice of thecustomer (VOC) within the business.

  • Identifyfeatures and benefits that resolve specific customer issues taking intoconsideration technical aspects of engine and component parts.

  • Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to drive process improvement for customersatisfaction utilizing Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives.

  • Participatein customer focused Six Sigma initiatives using Define, Measure, Analyze,

  • Improveand Control (DMAIC) to strengthen the relationships with the customer andensure processes are efficient and sustainable.

  • Coachand mentor less experience account managers and account specialists.

  • Interfacewith the Engine Business customer in order to extend and expand sales ofproducts and services to existing clients. Use the 7-Step Resolution Process tomanage production and distribution issues associated with accounts.

  • Participatein Failure Incident Report Group (FIRG) meetings to suggest solutions toproblems related to engine products and services that were learned throughcoordination of communication with clients.

Experience and Education:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Positionsrequire a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or ManufacturingEngineering, or related field and three years of experience as a Product Manager,Systems or Productions Engineer, Technical Advisor, Specialist, or Leader, orrelated position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degreein Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field andseven years of experience as a Product Manager, Systems or ProductionsEngineer, Technical Advisor, Specialist, or Leader, or related field.

Experience to include:

  • NewProduct Introduction (NPI)

  • Voiceof the Customer (VOC)

  • NetPromoter Score (NPS)

  • SixSigma

  • Define,Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC)

JOB SITE: Columbus, IN

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation. Base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
