Responsibilities:

Provide support to customers coming in for service and parts requests in order to establish and maintain a profitable relationship for both Cummins and the customer

  • Answers incoming customer phone calls

  • Schedules service customers who ask for appointments

  • Assists walk-in parts & service customers

  • Gathers service information from the vehicle and enters the information into BMS-opens the work order

  • Updates customers on repair progress daily

  • Collects payment from parts and service customer invoices

  • Initiates the service fault triage and works with the customer to make initial assessment of a possible repair plan

  • Works in the parts department to ensure inventory levels are correct, checks in parts from UPS and FedEx

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Good problem solving and time management skills

Experience:

  • 1-3 years Customer Service experience

  • Industry experience preferred

  • Parts and Service experience preferred

  • Valid Drivers License

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Some college or tech school preferred
