Cummins is looking for an extraordinary Customer Support Representative for our Columbia, SC location. Provide support to customers coming in for service and parts requests in order to establish and maintain a profitable relationship for both Cummins and the customer
Answers incoming customer phone calls
Schedules service customers who ask for appointments
Assists walk-in parts & service customers
Gathers service information from the vehicle and enters the information into BMS-opens the work order
Updates customers on repair progress daily
Collects payment from parts and service customer invoices
Initiates the service fault triage and works with the customer to make initial assessment of a possible repair plan
Works in the parts department to ensure inventory levels are correct, checks in parts from UPS and FedEx
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Strong computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong work ethic
Good problem solving and time management skills
1-3 years Customer Service experience
Industry experience preferred
Parts and Service experience preferred
Valid Drivers License
High school diploma or equivalent
Some college or tech school preferred
