We are looking for an extraordinary CDL Driver in Coburg. This is a local driving position. You will be home at the end of your shift. The benefits of joining Cummins are just beginning.

What do you need to become a driver? This person will drive to pick up and deliver trucks, buses and RVs from the customers’ sites to and from the Coburg Service Center. Other duties include:
Support the Cummins Northwest Customer Service Philosophy and Standards
Pick up and deliver customer trucks, buses and RV’s using a towable vehicle for two way transport.
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Read and interpret maps in order to determine vehicle routes.
Demonstrate safe and defensive driving behavior at all times.
Report vehicle effects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Other duties as assigned (Building, Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance as needed.)
To succeed in this role, this person will have the following qualifications:
Must have, and maintain a good driving record and CDL Class A license
Training and experience driving commercial vehicles on local city roads.
Excellent driving record for both personal and work-related driving.
A self-motivated team player with the ability to work and communicate well with customers and co-workers.
The desire to provide top quality customer service.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and take care of customer’s needs while following company procedures and projecting confidence in the Cummins product.
High school diploma or equivalent, and ability to read & write.
