This is an exciting opportunity in Bristol, PA for an Assistant Controller.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Responsible for implementing accountingpractices and procedures.

  • Supervises a group of general accountants oraccounting clerks in maintaining the general ledger.

  • Supervises a group of general accountants oraccounting clerks in maintaining the general ledger.

  • Implements accounting policies under directionof the General Accounting Manager.

  • Implements processes and procedures thatproperly capture, track, and report revenue and expenditures.

  • Compiles, reviews, analyzes, and records complexfinancial information.

  • Reviews account reconciliations prepared byaccountants and accounting clerks.

  • Reviews and interprets balance sheet and profitand loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accountingschedules and reports.

  • Identifies control weaknesses, communications tomanagement, and operates in a lead capacity in making remedial changes totighten and enhance controls and mitigate risk.

  • Conducts research and analysis on advancedissues.

  • Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintainsaccounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions.

  • Coaches and mentors general accountants andaccounting clerks; assigns work according to availability, skills, anddevelopmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to directreports.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Accounting, Finance orrelated field required.

  • Progress toward Certified Public Accountant,Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certificationpreferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
