Diesel Technician
Description
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business (Avondale, AZ).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
(Entry):
Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics
Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
(Intermediate):
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision
(Advanced):
Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools
Larger more complicated engine rebuilds
Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation
This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. ORDER, DOT Physical and DMV Report. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD This position will be a part of the FTA pool. ORDER, FTA Drug Test

Compensation and Benefits Base
Salary rate commensurate with experience. - This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
